Exterior Painting on Lucas Ln., in Avila Beach, CA
Preparation is key to any good paint job. A through power washing is the first step to remove any dirt or mildew from the home. For wood sided houses like these, we can hand prep parts of the home to avoid any blowing paint chips into the landscaping. Keeping the house clean while we paint is of the highest importance! This is why we use drop cloths outside as well as inside, along with covering the landscaping and we always do a full clean clean up at the end of each work day. For preparation of a wood sided home, we will also caulk in holes to reduce points of water intrusion and slow dry rot. These homes were painted using Kelly Moore paints.
