Exterior Painting Wood Trellis Patio Cover in Nipomo, CA
This patio cover was deceptive. The picture on the left was taken BEFORE we painted. As you can see it looked fairly decent. But as you can see the top in the second picture, it was in rough shape. The truth is that these trellis patio covers are relatively high maintenance items. Water and sun are not paints friend. Moisture tends to pool on top and eventually migrates through the paint causing failure. The best defense is to paint the top frequently. If the top is painted regularly, the bottom and sides will remain in great shape for years. This project was completed with a bright Kelly Moore Paint and turned out great!
