Exterior Painting in Arroyo Grande

Ag ext cover

This Arroyo Grande home received a full exterior painting transformation — an exterior painting project that combined surface restoration, premium product application, and thoughtful detailing.

The Project

The client wanted to rejuvenate their home’s curb appeal with a professional repaint. The home's surfaces showed signs of chalking, sun wear, and minor damage, prompting a comprehensive restoration and repainting plan.

The Work

The Browder Painting team began with low-pressure washing and mildew treatment. Soil was trenched around the base, and loose paint was scraped and sanded. All bare wood and rusted metals were primed, and 50-year caulking was applied to joints and seams. Stucco cracks were patched and retextured, and protective masking was done to shield non-painted areas.

For the finish, the Sabos could choose between Sherwin Williams SuperPaint, Emerald, or Emerald Rain Refresh (self-cleaning). Each included two full coats — not wet-on-wet shortcuts — and meticulous surface coverage. Trim, fascia, doors, and pillars received full prep and paint attention, with optional upgrades available for garage doors, metal gates, utility doors, and the shed.

The Result

The home now looks refreshed, cohesive, and protected — with crisp trim lines, clean stucco surfaces, and enhanced durability from the premium coatings applied. Optional features like painted house numbers, a primed utility door, and rust-sealed metalwork further elevated the appearance and functionality.
